If you notice a problem with a rebate and you need to alert the buyer something is wrong with the rebate you can start an Issue.
In order to set an issue:
1) Let the buyer know (through our messaging system) that his/her rebate will be declined due to the order ID that does not match, the order was canceled or refunded.
2) Wait for the 6-day after the purchase was claimed to 'Start an Issue' before the system approves the rebate automatically.
To start an Issue on the rebate, you simply need to go to Rebate Queue > Recent Rebates > View Discussion > Start Issue.
Please note: If the Issue is not resolved within 35 days the system will Decline the rebate automatically.
